Avant garde cloche hat in vintage French indigo waxed linen fabric. This 
is another 'tall' cloche shape with a single pleat and squared off slightly
taller crown that makes a flattering shape, particularly helpful for those 
of us with narrow forheads. Fully lined with cotton chambray. The deep 
sweeping asymmetric brim can be flipped up or down as required and the 
simple style can be worn unadorned or with a brooch or flower, depending 
on whether you are wearing it to commute to work or to a special event 
such as a wedding. Shades the face nicely.

20s inspired asymmetric linen cloche sun hat made of designer French waxed 
linen with a contrasting black linen band and fully lined with a grey 
cotton chambray. The ZUTpascale design has a dramatic, elegant asymmetric 
shape with an elogated crown and cleverly integrated hat band in a 
contrasting colour. I use the non-waxed side of the linen on the outside of
the hat but I do find the coating on the reverse helpful in giving body to 
the fabric without using any man made interfacing that can make a hat hot 
to wear in the summer. Despite the 20s reference, the ZUTpascale is 
definitely a contemporary hat that can be dressed up for a wedding 
(try it with a fresh flower or favourite brooch pinned to the side) or down
 with jeans or a narrow long coat for shopping or commuting. Also suitable 
for gardening and walking. A striking hat made of the highest quality
